I'm in love with this mp3-player..

It took me 3 days to finish this piece including rendering and materials etc. I didn't use any post processing effects. It's 100% made in 3dsmax. The rendertime was really huge. More than 2 hours. The glossy metals really take a lot of calculations. :)

Software was 3dsmax 6 +Vray

Someone asked about lighting settings and such so here's somethng. A screenshot of the lcd material

It's quite simple, but it works. :)

The scene lighting is made with just a spot light with softened shadows and global illumination. The spot is a bit yellowish and the skylight is blue. Together they create a metallic, yet natural feeling to the scene.

"Iriver H-120 Jukebox" by ~JetroPag is a fine example of how detailed modelling coupled with subtle (yet, effective) texturing can show off an artist's skill. Of course, 'full view' is a must. ( Featured by `bluespeed9 )

i simply love it and still using it!! the jukebox is quite powerful for its promised optimized capability, can be easily used with professional purposes for benchmarking different advanced audio systems and losless sound capture via specialized I/O optical jacks... and so on. the main goal is in it's solid sound he delivers what's most of other wide programmed competitors - comparing products such as CREATiVE and SONY, i tested mine back then with few other from APPLE and two other different which i mentioned, so all in all in my point of view for the brands don't actually suck, they simply don't have what it's all about, i think there's no man out there who ownes this jukebox can say that he have been at least for one time unsatisfied with that iRiver HDD. For me though, even the whole size of (iHP 100" Series) isn't that much of a reason to make it unusable nowadays. the body design could have been a little pure and gentle for a bit, with INNO's" design all is kept within that body visually explains that all together thing collapse a huge match, solid and stern which lies between portable handy Hard drive gadget to an advanced hi-end audio device, which is precisely 100% real deal about it.
Highly recommend iHP users to try out pushing it to the limits, the media file format like MP3 is not enough to power up true quality you playback, it's fair to use losless file formats for full experience, i reccomend using WAVE audio instead and only, first of all - invent to impress, pure pleasure sound, storage capacity: three of the most important for listening experience> which fully allow to use within its limitations. for example, numbers arent that high for music stored on my 40 gig iRiver - only 1089 songs and still have room for a little more (4,2GB left).
Pity and unfair for battery life starts to short up when working intensive if connecting through usb cable.
Slows down when under charging mode when reaching final tens or so left to finnish charging itself.
A shame really if to perform an any kind of repairs, can't actually be serviced with any guarantee, if ever! since it's quite obsolete for the time being, and hard to find a useful information to find a seller or simplest supplier, a big disadvantage but it's quite obvious the state of popularity level in production in europe is similar for a small recruiting company resulting with poor supply and warranty confidence. i once damaged my one, now i know how's it to be with that kind of rare peace of fragile item, needs to be held in care, if so - nothing will stop the music (:
That would be all

wow, thanks for the comment! I agree 100%.

I'm still using my beloved h-120 and the sound quality simply makes me amazed every time. A perfect piece of hardware it is.

Impressive! Didn't realise this was a render. The best MP3 player ever, had mine for over 5 years now, never picked up a better player.

Thanks! :D

Yeah! I still use mine almost every day. And it's still as good as new! Battery life, everything! Except that the joystick is a bit worn out but still works fine though. :D

I don't know what I'd do if I lost my beloved iRiver..
